With a giraffe at the San Diego Wild Animal Park
I’m Jessica. I am a website designer in Cape May County, New Jersey. During the day, I work full-time as a website manager for a publishing company in Cape May. At night, I masquerade as a novelist and film enthusiast.
I am addicted to tea. Well, technically I’m addicted to the caffeine.
I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2004. I write books. Or rather, I start books and then stare at the shortcut to the document for months and months.
Right now, I’m really into decorating my house creatively and on the cheap.
Things I cannot stand
Use of the word “chemical” to mean something dangerous. By definition, everything is a chemical. Water is a chemical. So when I hear someone say she gardens without chemicals, I have to assume her plants are dead.
People who refer to any rock as “granite.” Take a geology class.
Refusal to use the Comma of Address. Example: “Hi, Joe!” is correct, while “Hi Joe!” is not.
People who do not use turn signals.
Olive Garden commercials.
